The Community Affairs Department of the Guadalupe Center Inc., serves as an advocate for the Hispanic community and the Westside with the goal of increasing community awareness and participation in issues relevant to their interests. Essentially, the department operates three programs:

Project Trabajo

• Bilingual job placement assistance
• Walk-in screening, assessments & referrals
• Referrals for vocational training
• Resume preparation assistance
• Job fairs

Barrio Bulletin

• Informs community about upcoming events
• Provides educational articles

Credit Union

• Provides financial services such as savings, auto & personal loans, money orders, etc.
